Woven by hand from 100% sheep wool, this tapestry is created by Cesarea, an artisan weaver working on a traditional backstrap loom. The stripes reflect landscapes remembered through generations, earth, sky, and mineral tones coming together.

Cesarea weaves as her ancestors did, passing the ancient technique down to her granddaughter Sole, who now sells these works on her behalf. Preserving this knowledge is central to Cesarea’s practice, ensuring the craft continues through future generations.

Each tapestry is woven as a single, continuous piece. Slight variations in colour, weave, and dimension are natural and celebrate the handmade process.
